“What we think determines what happens to us, so if we want to change our lives, we need to stretch our minds.” – Wayne Dyer
Want to make this year one of the best ever? Then spend some time today writing down your goals for the rest of the year. That way you can focus your attention on them instead of constantly being distracted by the clutter that fills up our lives.
What do you want to accomplish? Where do you want to go? What have you always wanted to try?
It does not matter how big or small the goals are, the important thing is getting them out in the open. It is also important to set high expectations, that way you have something to strive for.
I recommend taking at least 20 minutes today and focusing on nothing but your 2010 goals. Find some quiet place somewhere and sit down with your notebook and just let the ideas flow.
You will be happy you did!

“Procrastination is the bad habit of putting off until the day after tomorrow what should have been done the day before yesterday.”
- Napoleon Hill
Today’s tip is an important one. Everyone has something they’ve been putting off. You might have a reason, you might not. Either way, excuses can only work for so long before you need to do whatever it is that needs to be done.
Why not make today the day? Sit down and figure out what you’ve been putting off. Create a step-by-step guide to get it done and decide on a deadline. That way you force yourself to work as hard as you can to complete the task.

“How do you live a long life? Take a two-mile walk every morning before breakfast.” – Harry S Truman
Not all exercise has to be difficult. A nice, long walk outside can ease your mind and rejuvenate your soul. There’s nothing more relaxing than taking a long stroll through a park, a town, or even a busy city street. Wherever you are, make it your goal today to take a nice, long walk.
You might take it in the morning before you eat breakfast. Or perhaps you’re a night owl that prefers walking at night after the sun has set. Either way, get outside and get some fresh air.
Focus on clearing your mind as you walk and take the time to notice your surroundings. You’ve got plenty of time to think about the other things in life when you get done with your walk.
